Berkshire Hounds @11:45pm, Small Houses @11pm, Garner Sloan @10:30pm – $10 cover. 21+ only.
Berkshire Hounds formed in 2011 by roommates Jim Campo and Spencer Garland, with no genre or artistic limitations, with the only goal of raising hell and defying the norms of ladder climbing, comatose-inducing Spotify-playlist hungry amateurs. Also joining in from the start and for most of the run, Z Lynch on bass and Jordan Cook on drums. After 5 years, 3 albums, and a brewery’s worth in their bellies, they called it quits and scattered into the sideman role, found on stage with the likes of Delta Spirit’s Matthew Logan Vasquez, Black Pumas, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Nikki Lane, Isreal Nash, to name a few. You want sounds, they’ve got mounds. Berkshire Hounds.
Small Houses is a Austin, TX based indie/folk project featuring the songs and poems of Flint, MI native Jeremy Quentin. Artfully crafted finger-style guitar playing, and softly sung melodies describing the people, love, and homes of Quentin’s life.
Garner Sloan takes residency in Austin, but originally hails from the burgeoning west Texas metropolis of Coleman. When not on the road touring with his band, Garner can be found locked away in his room holding a pen, staring at empty pieces of paper, questioning every decision that’s led him to this.
